This short series is for professionals who wish to include art and Gestalt in their repertoire as therapists, teachers, and counsellors. Through your own work, you will learn about the impact of Gestalt Therapy and the effectiveness of drawing and other artwork for: eliciting memories and unaware feelings | clarifying and resolving conflict | changing perspective | accessing creativity and flexibility | inspiring emotional interaction and intimacy. You will also learn to: simpify | work with the client’s artwork and response | think on your feet | manage emotional content | experience a powerful Gestalt approach to art work, with less emphasis on analysis and interpretation.
