Welcome to the GIT Student Clinic

Low-Cost Therapy Clinic

Human Connection. Real Change. Within Reach.

At the Gestalt Institute of Toronto Student Clinic, therapy starts with something simple — being met, as you are.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or just know something needs attention, this is a space to slow down and make sense of your experience — with support.

Therapy That Feels Human Gets Real.
This isn’t advice-giving or quick fixes.

Gestalt therapy is a relational approach, which means the work happens with you, not on you.

Together, you and your student therapist pay attention to:

      • What’s happening in the moment
      • How you relate to yourself and others
      • Patterns you may want to shift

It’s real, present, and grounded in authentic connection.

Rooted in Experience Since 1973

For over 50 years, the GIT has been training therapists in a deeply human, experiential approach to psychotherapy.

Your student therapist is:

      • In the final stages of professional training
      • Actively supervised by experienced clinicians
      • Part of a long-standing, respected learning community

You’re not just accessing therapy — you’re stepping into a trusted lineage of practice.
