Development Theory According to Gestalt Therapy

In this theoretical-practical workshop, Carmen Vásquez Bandín will look at development theory using Gestalt therapy theory and its application to the diagnosis and treatment of adult patients. For therapists working with children we are excited to present the Gestalt relational field approach to development, long thought to be missing from Gestalt theory. For therapists and trainees who work primarily with adult clients here is a window to the juncture where critical developmental opportunities are evident in the here and now experience of meeting our clients at the contact boundary. Carmen Vasquez Bandin is one of the most original thinkers in the Gestalt world. She brings wisdom, practicality, humour and humanity to complex teachings, opening us to our own deepest simplicity.
