Us & Them

This workshop focuses on the heart of our desensitization: the polarization into Them and Us. In David’s words: What makes it possible for people to: Over consume with no regard for others or the planet? Racially profile? Witness hardship and even atrocity and not reach out?…….and so many other ways that we compromise the planet’s and humanity’s well-being, possible?

The creation, over and over, of “the other”: the creation of the “them” in “us and them”.
In seeking Support for our community’s demand to use our skills to engage the existential, social and political suffering, we have been introduced to David Diamond, founder of Living Theatre.
We invite you to allow him to facilitate your journey of two days in which you can expect to:

  • learn a theatrical language to open to your own internalized fear and desires
  • discover that which compels our patterns The Rainbow of Desire :Them and Us
  • meet the “cops in our head” that are voices belonging to others including media.

Living theatre can only be described, the outcome depends on the participants. If you have read this far, this workshop is for you.

Theatre experience is not necessary. Come in comfortable clothes and with a willingness to play and investigate the issues.
