Relational Application of Classical Gestalt Techniques

This seminar is a call to Gestalt trainees and practitioners from across more than the fifty years of Gestalt applications and techniques, who have interest in exploring the bridge between classical Gestalt techniques such as two chair, use of exaggeration, projective work, and many more with contemporary embodied relational field focus. In our focus over the past ten years to increasing ground awareness and relational co-creation there is a danger of losing the power of doing something” together (the experiment? The intervention?) which is at the heart of Gestalt therapy. Learn how to choose from an almost infinite body of experiments when working with clients who need to build ground for explicitly relational work, how to adapt and titrate your favorite experiments, and have a refresher on the Gestalt use of the empty chair, art and other projective techniques. Celebrate our lineage with one another from across the years of the magic of Gestalt!
