Where does a song come from? At the beginning of a song is a sensation….
before the performance, the arrangement, the melody, the words, the notebook
scribbling, the jamming, or the concept.
It is alluring to be swept up with the organization of rhyme, form, or style. Instead in this workshop, we will ask the question - what was the feeling inside of me that catalyzed the creative action? We will trace this feeling through experimenting
with deep sensing and the body’s response to find the source of your song.
No musical experience is needed for this course.
