Body as Support: Exploring Presence in Therapeutic Practice

Inspired by Laura Perls’ wisdom — “”as much support as needed, as little as possible”” — this workshop invites therapists to explore embodiment as a living practice.
Every session holds an unspoken dialogue: micro-expressions, shared breath, subtle tension. When we tune into our own bodies, we become more available to our clients — not by doing more, but by being more fully present.

Through movement, play, writing, and dialogue, you’ll:

        • Sharpen sensitivity to your body’s quiet signals
        • Hold self-awareness and attunement to clients at the same time
        • Understand support as a dynamic balance between self and other
        • Bring more openness, playfulness, and curiosity into your therapeutic relationships

This workshop is for therapists and therapists-in-training ready to trade the “”doing to”” approach for the aliveness of “”being with”” their clients and themselves.
