How long is The Training Program?
The Gestalt Training Program consists of five years of part-time study on evenings and weekends. The program is scheduled between the months of September and April, followed by a five-day residential in a country setting in early May for Years Two and Three, and in late May for Year One and Year Four.
What is the schedule of classes for The Training Program?
Regular classes are scheduled from September until May excluding December. Schedules of classes are as follows:
- Year 1: Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 10 pm, 3 times per month plus one weekend per month beginning Friday: 7:30 to 10 pm Saturday: 10:00 am to 7:30 pm; and Sunday: 10:00 am to 1 pm.
- Year 2: Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 10 pm, 3 times per month plus 1 weekend per month beginning Friday: 7:30 to 10 pm Saturday: 10:00 am to 7:30 pm; and Sunday: 10:00 am to 1 pm.
- Year 3: Thursday evenings from 5:15 to 7:15 pm, 3 times per month plus one weekend per month beginning Friday: 7:30 to 10 pm Saturday: 10:00 am to 5 pm; and Sunday: 10:00 am to 1 pm.
- Year 4: Wednesday evenings from 5:15 to 7:15 pm, 3 times per month plus one weekend per month beginning Friday: 7:30 to 10 pm Saturday: 10:00 am to 5 pm; and Sunday: 10:00 am to 1 pm.
- Year 5: Consists of 5 all day seminars on advanced topics Saturdays 9:30 am to 4:30 pm; 8 Clinical Supervision sessions in a group format once per month, 7 Contemporary Issues classes – Once Per Month
