Relating To The Erotic Self: A Gestalt Approach
The erotic encompasses our aliveness as human beings, our deepest yes to pleasure and our ability to be present to the uniqueness and individuality of our embodied relational experiences. Like all other facets of being human, the more we understand the erotic/sexual in ourselves, the more we have to offer others within a Gestalt therapeutic process. This workshop will provide gentle support for unpacking blocks relating to the erotic/sexual self using a non-explicit, clothes-on, consent-centered and Gestalt experiential approach.
The focus of the work will be on increasing self-awareness via phenomenological engagement with fellow participants as witnesses and co-journeyers. Therapists, therapists-in-training, and those wanting to explore growth in relation to their sexual/erotic selves are all welcome, as are folks of all gender identities and sexual orientations.
