Relating to The Erotic Self
The erotic self encompasses our vital aliveness as human beings and our deepest “yes” to pleasure. Comfort with it can also unlock our ability to be present to/at ease with the individuality and uniqueness of our embodied relational experiences. This workshop will provide gentle support for unpacking blocks relating to the erotic self using a non-explicit, clothes-on, consent-centered and Gestalt experiential approach. The focus of the work will be on increasing self-awareness via phenomenological engagement with fellow participants, who become witnesses and co-journeyers in the process. Therapists, therapists-in-training, and those wanting to explore growth in relation to their erotic/sexual selves are all welcome, as are folks of all gender identities and sexual orientations.
