Hear & Now: Deep Listening and The Relational Soundscape
In this experiential workshop, participants will explore the practice of deep listening through voice, sound-making, and engagement with the surrounding soundscape. Grounded in Gestalt principles of embodied relational presence, this offering invites therapists to expand their awareness of self, other, and environment through auditory attention, intuitive movement, and creative vocal expression.
We will engage in practices that cultivate aesthetic sensitivity, embodied awareness, and relational attunement—supporting therapists in listening to the field with openness and spontaneity. Together, we will explore voice and sound not only as expressive tools, but as channels for connection with self, other, and environment.
Key Themes and Practices include
● Deep Listening: Cultivating presence through inclusive, non-judgmental listening—internally and externally; Guided and self-directed deep listening experiences
