The Words Between: Writing A Space for Yourself
Do you ever replay conversations in your mind, thinking about what you didn't say, couldn't say, or wish you had said? Whether you spend your days supporting others, giving feedback, documenting your work, navigating conflict, or simply carrying the weight of difficult conversations in your personal life, much of your own experience often has nowhere to go.
This experiential workshop invites you to meet those experiences through the practice of writing. Together, we will explore a path to awareness through creative writing that honours our shared humanity while deepening understanding of ourselves and our relationships. Using prompts designed to keep your pen moving, you will experiment with free writing, poetry, word association, and other experiential writing practices. Through guided writing, small group exploration, and optional sharing, we will discover how language can give shape to emotional responses, challenging conversations, and the often unspoken parts of our experience.
Over the course of the workshop, you will move between writing, reflection, dialogue, and embodied exploration, discovering how creative expression can deepen your relationship with yourself and others while fostering a sense of connection and community. Together, we will create space for what has remained unsaid.
The Words Between: Writing a Space for Yourself will be held In Person.
